Bio

Judy’s attention to detail and eye for color has certainly developed an easily recognizable style she can proudly call all her own. With over 500 limited edition prints spanning across the pages of her portfolio, and new pieces becoming available upon a monthly basis; Judy really is living a out a career she thanks God for everyday.

Proud to have called The Emerald Coast her home since 1987; it is clear to see where she finds her inspiration & color pallet. At a young age, Judy was asked by her second grade teacher to help decorate a class board, little did anyone know where this simple task would lead her. As this bright, talented, little girl stood back to admire her hard work, Judy’s teacher was among the faculty bragging about the creation Judy had completed for her class. Throughout the rest of that week, Judy found herself continuously commended for her talent in art; from there the seed was planted to establish the career she found today.

In 1994, Judy read a call for artists to submit an original piece of artwork to be considered for “The Destin Mayfest”. Inspired by the beautiful sugar sand beaches and the excitement of this annual event, Judy went to work. Later that same year, Judy came across another call for artists. This time it was for “The Destin Fishing Rodeo”. Shortly after the deadlines ended for each of these competitions, Judy was contacted by the committees and was congratulated, as she was announced the winner. 1995 marked the first year as Judy’s artwork became synonymous with The Emerald Coast. Shortly following the recognition of her artwork by the Destin area, she gladly retired her husband, who managed her career. You really could call this a team in the works until he recently passed on March 10th 2017! Now Judy is still at work selling her prints from a wide collection.
